Yet again, posting at the last minute…
It is the forest on the very southeast edge of Ula. David says you reside in Sandulf, the capital city. It will be another two days ride to Sandulf.”
I stared David down but he seemed oblivious. I couldn’t be sure if it was the knight’s assumption or if David had said we both lived in Sandulf. Certainly, I’d never seen nor even heard of the place in my life. I merely nodded, willing to accept the half-truth, after all David did live in Sandulf, if it meant safety.

She seems a bit timid and yet rational – interesting how she lets her ire show for a bit.

The writing is so smooth, it just carries me along in the story. Really an excellent excerpt, raising even more questions about your heroine.

Survival instinct kicking in. Good she knows to keep silent when safety is at stake. Good 8.

Interesting eight. And scary heading off to an unknown place. What happens next is the question? I’ll tune in Sunday.
