Oh, I’ve been reading so much this last week, largely because I really didn’t want to write for NaNoWriMo. Been enjoying some really good stories on Wattpad. Fortunately, I’m about 10k ahead on NaNo, so I can afford a little time wasting. Enjoy this next eight…
Sir Lionel walked beside his laden horse, one hand on the reins, the other gently touching Amara, ensuring she not take a tumble from the horse’s back. David sat in front of her, holding her arms around his middle.
The going was slow, certainly slower than he’d been traveling. He hadn’t been going anywhere of any great importance, simply traveling to visit an old friend. Ensuring the safety of the two seemed far more important, however, than surprising a childhood friend he hadn’t seem in five long years. Especially when Amara engendered such protective feelings in his, constricting his heart with the need of it.
