This month was a little wonky. I feel like I struggled a lot more than I should (and an adverse reaction to my first COVID vaccination didn’t exactly help). I was one of the one in a million (or maybe even rarer) to have fairly significant side effects from the vaccine. Lasted for a week or two and knocked me out completely for nearly an entire day. Even without that, I felt like I was floundering a lot this time, like I wasn’t on the ball about anything, even though I did get things done on time.

A fellow author stumbled on me, though, who changed my outlook a bit. She’s fairly new like me, but seems a bit better at the whole networking thing, and shared some resources, which I’m hoping to take advantage of soon.

Lessons Learned:

• I can create review promos with StoryOrigin without having a book ready for review.
• KDP allows me to put books on preorder without cover art ready.
