I’ve written about 6k more words since my last check in, and that includes MULTIPLE days where I did nothing (cough… Thanksgiving). It’s amazing that, despite not celebrating or visiting family, I still managed to get nothing done that day.
On the plus side, I did learn that you can play D&D with only one person (real cool for when you either don’t have time for a regular game or scheduling/finding players is a challenge). I did the first session yesterday with my female bearded dwarf wizard, Tasrin Tolbrohr. In spite of not being a min/max character, she kicked butt in her first battle. I’m thinking of sharing her adventures here, so stay tuned for that.
The randomization tables were really useful, though I absolutely HATED one of the tables, so I’m trying to think of how to make that work better. The recommendations from the toolbox I’m using are ridiculous. I mean, trying to mash together 4 or 5 verbs does not a full rumor make. I’m sorry, it just doesn’t. I might experiment with that tonight.
Anyway, looking forward to NaNoWriMo ending and life returning (more or less) to normal.
Until next time,
Danielle
