Progress Post: 1st YouTube Video in 2 years

So I created a YouTube video! It’s going live on Friday and will hopefully be the first of many. I probably spent way too much time on it in the last week, but new things always take too much time so…

Worked a lot on episode 6. Haven’t quite finished it yet in spite of having 2 days off in the last week. I’m currently on draft 4.

Yesterday, I “finished” the cover art for Fated Mates of the Drakoan and Matched to the Alien Captain (so much procrastinating…). Took me hours to figure out the scale effect for Fated Mates, largely because the process (which multiple sources claimed would work) had steps that actually prevented it from working. I did figure it out, and while the effect is subtle, I think it works. The covers are currently on my Ream and I’ll be sharing them in my mailing list email on the 15th to see what people think.

I also sucked it up and made the decision to pull all but my current series out of KU over the next few months. I’m looking forward to actually having the flexibility to do what I want with those books and am curious to see how things will go in the near future.
