seizeAnd the fun continues!  And why do I always put posting this until the last minute?

I opened my eyes, whipping them around, taking in the surroundings and trying to determine our direction of travel.  “Amara!” David cried, trying in vain to turn on the horse’s back.

“Stop it, David.”  He stopped immediately, but crooked his head back to eye me, a seriousness in his eyes belying his short years.  “Where are we?  What direction do we head?”

But it wasn’t David who answered.  “The Hemming Forest.
